#1 – Why is my contact information collected when I book?
Sometimes there are unforeseen events beyond my control that may impact travel schedules and possibly disrupt your vacation. These include severe weather conditions, acts of nature, and government travel advisories. Under such circumstances, I must contact you immediately and effectively – including nights, weekends, and holidays – to make sure that I have informed you of any possible changes to your travel.

#2 – Do I need a passport and a visa to travel internationally?
When traveling outside the United States, a passport is required for U.S. citizens, and many countries require that your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of travel. Some countries also require a visa. I know that navigating visa applications and requirements can be confusing, but I am here to help you.

#3 – Does it cost me extra to use a travel agent? I am asked this question often, and it seems that many people misunderstand what Travel Agents do and how we are paid, so let me help you understand how things work.

I am not paid an hourly wage. I am only paid commission on the trips I book, and not until after you return home from traveling. The cost of my commission is already included in the price you pay for any trip, whether you use a travel agent or not, because I am paid by the hotel or tour operator, not my clients. So this means that you are paying for a service you are not receiving when you do not book with me, and who wants to do that?

You would also have me as a dedicated contact to help make sure you are getting the best deal possible and that you are fully prepared to travel. Navigating the restrictions and requirements for traveling these days due to Covid concerns can be confusing. Hence, it helps to have me doing the research needed to make sure that you understand what you need to do and when, so you can go on your long-awaited stress-free vacation.
